Why We Exist
With human cognition, diversity, and AI now boardroom buzzwords, organisations are racing to respond — new policies, new training, new awareness.
But the systems underneath haven't changed. They were built around assumptions of how minds should work, not how minds actually work — and that's where things break down. This isn't a problem with people, and it isn't a problem AI alone can solve. It's a gap between expectation and reality.
Think Mechanics Group was born in that gap — from lived experience, study, frustration, curiosity, and a recognition that human minds were ready for a new leap, if the systems around them would finally catch up.
We combine cognitive science, behavioural insight, organisational design, and artificial intelligence to build practical tools that close that gap — helping people think, learn, and perform the way they're actually wired to.
Our goal is simple: remove the friction between people and their potential — for individuals, and for the organisations built around them.

"If disability awareness sparked renewed interest in human cognition, AI stoked the flames. Think Mechanics Group was built in exactly that space."
My perspective on learning, performance, and organisational design was shaped long before Think Mechanics Group existed.
I'm autistic, a disability advocate, and parent to children with Cerebral Palsy and AuDHD. Across more than a decade in learning and development, I saw the same pattern everywhere: talented people weren't failing for lack of capability — the systems around them weren't built to recognise how people actually work.
That wheel turned slowly, but it turned. Disability awareness sparked renewed interest in human cognition; AI stoked the flames. Think Mechanics Group was built in exactly that space.
Whether you're the person in your organisation who sees things a little differently and hasn't yet found the right place for your ideas — or the organisation ready to build the new normal — we've been building for you.
